The winner of the Contest will be eligible to have their submitted burger entry as a featured specialty menu item for a period not exceeding thirty days. There can only be one contest winner per month for the duration of the contest. The winner of the Contest will also be eligible for a Gift Certificate to be used at Blu Burger Grille locations and hold a value equal to $25 and decided indefinitely by Blu Burger Grille. Gift Certificates cannot be exchanged for cash.
Method of EntryIn order to be eligible for the Contest prize a contestant must complete the following form, in its entirety, agree to all terms and conditions then submit their information to Blu Burger Grille in the form of an online submission. Blu Burger Grille will not be responsible for and will not consider incomplete or incorrect entries.
Contest Length & JudgingThe duration of the Contest will begin on February 1, 2011 and will conclude on December 31, 2011. Blu Burger Grille can extend or reduce the length of the Contest at any time. The Contest winner will be selected on the last weekend of each month by a Blu Burger Grille representative, at which time the winner will be notified via e-mail.
The Contest winner will be selected based on the following decision criteria and weighted for a final score; the highest scoring entry will be awarded the prize. The decision criteria to be used for judgment will be: Creativity in pairing ingredients, aesthetic appeal of final product, affordable and fair value of final product, presentation and originality.
In the event that there are duplicate entries provided by different contestants, priority will be given to the entry the judges feel has the more creative "Burger Name". If the entries have the same "Burger Name" priority will be given to the entry that was received first by the judges.
Blu Burger Grille reserves the right to discontinue any and all featured items in association with the Contest at any time during or after the period of the Contest.
Contest Rules:No purchase necessary to enter the Contest. Prizes are non transferable and not negotiable. Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash. A purchase will not increase your chances of being selected as the winner. The prizes are expressly limited to the item(s) listed above under prize and do not include any applicable federal taxes, local taxes, gratuities or any other expenses that may apply. Other restrictions may apply. All federal, state, and local laws apply.
Employees of Blu Burger Grille, its sponsors, suppliers, promotional partners, and employees of other Blu Burger Grille restaurants, affiliates and subsidiaries are not eligible to participate in the Contest.
Blu Burger Grille is not responsible for any technological difficulties that may prevent an individual from completing his/her entry or receiving a completed entry.
The Contest winner will be notified via e-mail. Upon notification of potential prize award, all prizes or prize certificates will be sent via email and can be printed and presented to any of the Blu Burgerlocations at the corresponding location address below. The winner will forfeit any prize or prize certificate not claimed within thirty (30) days of winning. In the event that a prize or prize certificate is mailed to the winner, it will be with the prior written consent of the winner and therefore, winner assumes the riskof its loss. Blu Burger Grille is not responsible for the safe arrival of a prize or prize certificate.
By participating in the Contest and upon submitting your entry form, you agree to allow Blu Burger Grille to include your information in our databases.
Blu Burger Grille limits the winning of prizes to once every 30 days.
By participating in the Contest, the winner agrees to have their name, entry information, form content or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this Contest without additional financial or other compensation, and, where legal, to sign a publicity release confirming such consent prior to acceptance of the prize. It is also agreed that Blu Burger has no obligation to compensate a winner in any manner for proceeds gained as a result of conducting the Contest.
A contest is null and void in any jurisdiction where its actions are prohibited by law.
Blu Burger Grille reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the Contest, including the substitution of a prize or equivalent value. If, due to circumstances beyond the control of Blu Burger Grille, any competition or prize-related event is delayed, rescheduled, postponed or cancelled, Blu Burger Grille reserves the right, but not the obligation, to cancel or modify the Contest and shall not be required to award a substitute prize.
Prior to awarding any prize or prize certificate, Blu Burger Grille in its sole discretion may require Contest winners (and their travel companions, if any) to sign a liability release, agreeing to hold Blu Burger Grille, its licensees, its parents, subsidiaries, and affiliated corporations, and the officers, shareholders, managers, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the Contest.
